Department of War Studies
The Future Threats Lab operates out of the Department of War Studies in King’s College London. The Department of War Studies is one of the only academic departments in the world focused on understanding the complex realm of conflict, security, and international politics through inter-disciplinary teaching, research and engagement. It provides research-led teaching to the next generation of scholars in conflict, policy, and international relations from BA through to PhD. Its teachers are world-leading experts and pioneers in their fields, whose research and influence takes them to the forefront of global events as they happen.
Centre for Science and Security Studies
The Future Threats Lab is funded by the Centre for Science and Security Studies (CSSS). The CSSS is a multi-disciplinary research and teaching group that brings together scientific experts with specialists in politics, international relations and history. CSSS forms part of the School of Security Studies at King’s and draws on experts from the Department of War Studies and the Department of Defence Studies.
